I have a background in art and music. I believe my participation in creative and transgressive modes of expression/communication informs my therapeutic style. I am a warm and imaginative person and I am curious about the most unique and unusual parts of my patients. I believe my artistic and intellectual interests allows me a nonjudgemental stance towards others. Through connection, meaning is made from even the most painful and fragmenting experiences. From my life and clinical experience I remain optimistic about the human capacity for growth.
